  • Hi,

What is the model of your audio card and computer?

This behavior occurs if the driver does not work. If you have not installed driver for the audio card, please reinstall it with your driver CD.

If driver has been installed, but the issue occurs all of a sudden, the driver may be corrupt. I suggest that you remove the existed driver and reinstall it.

    1. Click Start, click Run, type in "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) and press Enter.

    2. In Device Manager, double click to expand the "Sound, video and Game controllers" branch.

    3. Right click the M-Audio and click Uninstall to uninstall the driver.

    4. Click Start, in the Start Search box type "appwiz.cpl" and press Enter.

    5. Find the entry of the audio driver, and uninstall it.

    6. Restart the computer.

Then, reinstall the driver with your driver CD.

If the issue still occurs, try to download the latest driver from your computer manufacturer's website.
