  • My computer randomly reboots itself and gives me this error code. Can anyone tell me what this means?

    BCCode: 1000000a BCP1: 00008090 BCP2: 00000002 BCP3: 00000001
    BCP4: 804F88D8 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP: 3_0 Product: 256_1

    (Also, somtimes individual programs will shut down randomly).

  • According to the Microsoft documentation, BCCode 1000000A is the same as BCCode 0x0000000A (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) and indicates that Microsoft Windows or a kernel-mode driver accessed (for writing, as indicated by the value of the third parameter) paged memory at DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.
    The error that generates this bug check usually occurs after the installation of a faulty device driver, system service, or BIOS.

    Inspect the Windows "System" log in the Event viewer to see if there's any record related to the problema you're currently experimenting.
