    Can you provide more information on the update issue?

    What update did you trying to install? Have you tried to manully install it form?

    When did the problem happen during the update process? Did it happen when you click Check for update or when you downlaoding\installing the update?

    Since we have limited info on the issue, here are some general troubleshooting steps:

    1. Please refer the following link and run the Windows Update troubleshooter.

        Fix Windows Update issues:

    2. Please try to download and manually install the update.

       https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Home.aspx

    3. Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) by taking following these steps:

        3.1 Open an administrative Command Prompt window.

        3.2 Type following command and then press Enter.

               sfc /scannow

        3.3  After the scan is finished, try to install updates again.

    4. Reset the Windows Update Components, please refer the following link.

    5.Remame the softwareDistribution folder

    Open cmd as adminsitrattor and type the below commands: Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak

    When that command completes, type the following and then push Enter: Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak

    Close the Command Prompt window, and reboot your computer.
