Exchange Connector Key/Code Words, Rules, ... RRS feed

  • Dear all

    I've installed SCSM Exchange Connector on Service Manager 2012R2, I think it works properly. My question now is, is it possible to configure some Key/Code Words or Rules that specified categories are managed automatically?

    For example Mail comes from Company A and I would like to add this automatically with key words in Mail to Alternate contact method. Or sender is automatically assigned User.

  • Hi Patrick.

    You can't do this with the exchange connector.  However, it is possible to do this with Orchestrator, although you will need to get your hands dirty with some PowerShell to parse the mail body for the text you need etc.
