DREAMWEAVER
No matter from where - user or administrator levels - MX Studio has been installed from, to open DreamWeaver at user level requires administrator login. Even when all user privileges have been activated, the same administrator authentification is required.
PHOTOSHOP
After install of CS2, upon opening PhotoShop, Adobe Updater is triggered. Again administrator authentification is required. When all boxed for updating have been unticked the same authentification is required. Also this occurs EVERY time PhotoShop is opened indicating that the result of Updater has not been stored.
IS THIS REAL SECURITY?
Fellows, how many studios in the world use these apps? How many of them do you want to upgrade to Vista? And now we have to give EVERY staffer full administrator rights to do their work. From my perspective, I don't think it is particularly secure to give everyone admin rights to do their work....
