powershell to call another script which connects to AD RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a powershell script a.ps1 and I want to call another powershell from b.ps1. In b.ps1 i have "Import-Module ActiveDirectory", so it pops up a window.

Running from powershell prompt I don't have any issues, but when I call the a.ps1 from a third party tools I face issues like it opens a popup windows and that application not able to handle that window.

So, the question is there a way to call the b.ps1 script without opening the pop-up window? In the b1.ps1 we are using "Import-Module ActiveDirectory"? How to disable or I don't want that pop up window.

I use the below code to call the a.ps1.

Start-Process -FilePath Powershell -Credential $svc_cred -ArgumentList '-File $script'

    Thanks, Dinesh

  • For third party tool issue you must contact the third party tool vendor.  We cannot support tissues with other vendors tools.

I also recommend learning PowerShell before trying to do anything as it will only cause you frustration to try guessing.
