Question

Hi guys, I'm new in SCDPM 2007I've got this current situation :3 Server running Win2k8 R2 x64 (HPV1, HPV2, HPV3), then I perform a Failover Cluster each server running Hyper-V and have 3 host installed, so the total are 9 host.1 physical server SCDPM 2007 with SP1, I want to backup 9 host.the 9 host are store in system volume so I can't backup choosing the folder volume.I've already install dpm agent to 3 Hyper-V server, when I want to create a Protection group, expand the 3 Hyper-V server, it shows : "Microsoft Hyper-V", then I expand again it shows this option :Backup Using Saved State\EnterpriseBackup Using Saved State\EnterpriseSP2Backup Using Saved State\StandaradSP2Initial StoreBut it only show from HPV1, both HPV2 and HPV3 only showing Intial StoreI've already check by following this instruction for HPV3 :1. run vssadmin list writers from and admin command prompt and : Hyper-V VSS Writer is in a stable state2. launch the diskshadow /l logfile.txt tool in an admin command prompt and in that environment run list writers : all the "VMs are under Microsoft Hyper-V VSS Writer".My question are :
- what is the different Backup Using Saved State\xxx ?
- what could possible wrong with HPV2 and HPV3 ?
- what backup option should I choose and how to backup the VMs?
