Issue with PowerPivot start in Excel 2013 RRS feed

  • Did you install SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular Model instance on the same machine?
    If so, please try to turn off it to check this issue. For more detailed information, please take a look of the blog below:

    Additionally, have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Programs & Features > Microsoft Office > Change in the Windows Control Panel)?

    Thank you for your answer.

    We do not have MS SQL DataBase and SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular Model instance on the same machine. We repaired the Office installation but unfortunately we have the same issue now.

  • Also I can add that we can start PowerPivot only if user is  local administrator. But if user is domain administrator or domain user we have the problem.
