How and from where add department names RRS feed

    How and from where add department names under department field while creating resource.

  • Under server settings, go to "Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookup Tables", scroll down to look up table and edit the "department" look up table. You can enter department values which will show up in the department (project and resource) fields.

    Do the following:

    1. Launch your web browser and log into PWA with administrator permissions.
    2. Click the Settings Menu button in the upper right corner of the page (it looks like a gear wheel) and select the PWA Settings item on the menu.
    3. In the Enterprise Data section of the PWA Settings page, click the Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookup Tables link.
    4. Scroll down to the Lookup Tables for Custom Fields section of the page and then click the Department item in the list of lookup tables.
    5. Fill in the lookup table values in the Lookup Table section of the page.
    6. Click the Save button.

    Remember that the Project Departments and Resource Departments built-in fields BOTH share the Department lookup table.  Hope this helps.
