error physical memory dumping RRS feed

  • Dear Sir

    I am using a windows 7 professional service pack 1, Since yesterday my system is restarting automatically showing a blue screen and physical memory dumping written in it. System works in the safe mode but not in the normal mode.

    Please help

  • You will have to upload the .DMP file for analysis because there are literally thousands of things that can cause your system to crash.

  •  We do need the actual log file (called a DMP file) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.  
    We prefer at least 2 DMP files to spot trends and confirm the cause.

    If you are using Blue screen view, who crashed, or a similar application, don't.  They are wrong at least as often as they are correct

  • Hi,

    If this issue just occurred recently,  a simple way to get rid of this is to perform system restore.
