  • What's the full error message you receive when messages are refused and bounce back? The email (and also your mail server logs) will normally include a specific error code from Microsoft's mailservers consisting of a 3 digit code followed so additional characters specific to Hotmail's setup, for instance "550 SC-001". Check the list of error codes listed at the bottom of this page http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx to see why your messages are being blocked. Being blacklisted isn't the only cause which might explain why you're not finding your IP on the normal blacklists.

You can also raise a query via the form here https://support.msn.com/eform.aspx?productKey=edfsmsbl&ct=eformts&scrx=1 which will check you IP(s) and email you back information about why it's being blocked, and also goes into a bit more background detail that the info listed on the error codes page.
