Issue with RDS automatic activation for Volume Licensing customers

Question
-
Hi,
It seems that the automatic activation wizard for RDS Cals (Windows Server 2008 R2) has an issue with "Select Plus" agreements.
The "licensing program" drop-down list does not propose Select Plus and neither "Select" nor "Other" allow to enter the Select Plus number or the PCN(Public Customer Number).
Have you ever heard anything about this issue ?Thanks for your help

Hi,
What type of authorization number and/or agreement number does Select Plus have? Do you have the order confirmation letter from Microsoft? Does Select Plus not have a seven-digit agreement number like Select?
I did a quick search and read some text that said that for Select Plus there will be an agreement number and license number from Microsoft after your order. This sounds like how it works for Open License. The two numbers you need are in the upper right corner of the order confirmation letter.
One suggestion is if Select Plus uses a 15-digit Authorization Number and 8-digit License Agreement Number like Open then you could try choosing Open License from the dropdown.
If the above is not successful then I would suggest you contact the Clearinghouse and ask them which program to select in order to install your RDS CALs. The document below will help you find a number for the Clearinghouse (it is written for 2000, but is applicable to 2008 R2 as well, use Remote Desktop Licensing Manager instead of TS Licensing):
How to locate a telephone number for the Microsoft Clearinghouse

Hi TP,
thanks for your answer.
In Select Plus, Agreement numbers are replaced by PCN (Public Customer Number) which have 8 digits (alphanum).
In Select, Agreements have 7 digits.Anyway...thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Stian,
Unfortunately I didn't got solution for the automatic activation process.
Fortunately, the manual process available here https://activate.microsoft.com/ works.
The customer must follow all steps and fill-in the required fields until he reach the Licensing Program page.
At this stage, when asked to select the Licensing Program type, he must choose "other" and enter the PCN (Public Customer Number) in the field.
Hope that it helps.
Regards
