  • Easiest way would probably be opening both libraries in windows explorer and copying the documents across.

    Actions->Open in Windows Explorer

  • Wasn't specific enough - it should happen with a workflow

  • You can use Copy or Move Document to Different Farm action from HarePoint Workflow Extensions http://www.harepoint.com/Products/HarePointWorkflowExtensions/ListActivities.aspx?bs=Document Library

  • We're still using SharePoint 10 and I just had to move a library from child to parent site. I agree with Manu - creating a library in the parent site, opening both libraries in Windows Explorer and moving content was fast and simple. Then I just deleted the old library via Content and Structure.

    Wanted to up-vote in case  anyone else stumbles across this old thread (and doesn't feel the need to do via a Workflow).
