  • Question

  • When working in the Analyze Resources step of Portfolio Analysis, in the default Gantt Chart view, what does the "Has resource requirements" show?

I have 2 projects that are shown as selected but the "Has resource requirements" column shows "No" for one of them.  I went into the Requirements Details and I don't see anything for that project.  The project has committed resources in the resource request page.  I thought this column showed if the project has resources committed to it.

    Thanks,

    Miguel

  • I think it shows if there's work assigned to resources within the time period you're analyzing. A project that's had work done, or even one with remaining work... but scheduled to have happened outside of your selected dates... would show "no".

However, happy for you the engine lets you get that far to show you which projects don't actually have the requirements. For me, I can't get past the selection page until I figure out which projects don't have them.
