MS Outlook 2010 and SharePoint Calendar off by an hour

As above when adding an item in a SharePoint calendar and connecting this calendar to MS Outlook.

probably the reason may be with the timezone selected in your web application and the timezone selected on your desktop. get them in synch your problem should be resolved

Thanks. If I understand your suggestion correctly, in the server machine I should launch SharePoint 2010 Central Administration
Then: Application Management -> Manage Web Application -> (My Web Application) -> General Settings -> Default Time Zone
should be the same as my web server's time zone and my client machine's time zone?
I have done this and did a restart of my web application already but it didn't do anything.
Any more ideas? Cheers.

Hi,
check if the DST setting in the Server and Outlook are the same.

If time was successfully synced with client and server, is this issue only happens from a specific client? If so, the issue has to be environmental on the user's side. Scoping would definitely help us to get closer.Thanks & Regards.
