  • I just did a factory reset on my computer.

Ive been trying to get Windows Update to work but it keeps saying Windows Update cannot currently check for updates, because the service is not running. You may need to restart your computer.

Ive restarted it and nothing. I tried to do a clean boot and didnt help. Ive gone into the command prompt and type net stop (something) and that didnt help either.

After that I tried to start trouble shooting the problem and it wont let...

Also tried this https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/windows_update/en but is says Troubleshooting cannot proceed. The troubleshooter has experienced and unexpected error and cannot continue.

Another thing was trying to update my intel driver. Went here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ and clicked update drivers(http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect?iid=dc_iduu). Then it says

We're sorry—this page is temporarily unavailable. (Error 500)
We are working to reconnect you as soon as possible. Please try again in a moment.

But when I use http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/ and it says that's its fine but most likely not working for me...

Another thing is my Windows Defender isnt working either....

Lastly I did some kind of scan thing in my cmd about a CBS log. It scan and said some files are corrupt and go to CBS log. I have the log but doesnt look like I can base the Text Document in here for people to download. Ill post it next because of how long it is.

(Doesnt look like I can copy and paste it due to it being waaaaaay to big)

Also could upgrading to windows 10 help fix it? Im currently running windows 7.
