  • Unable to reset users password.  receiving error response; window cannot complet the password chang for "user Name".  The system cannot find the file specified.

    do you have the appropriate permissions to reset a usrs password?

    Please check the windows eventlog for errors.

    Please clarify if the issue occur when you try to reset password from OWA/outlook or when you try to reset windows password from "Active Directory Users and Computers".

    If it is for OWA, then please try to remove URLscan.

    Fine-tuning and known issues when you use the Urlscan utility in an Exchange 2003 environment


    If it is for DC, then I recommend  you to post the issue in Windows Server forum to get better help.
