Running .exes

Vista keeps giving me a message saying that an executable file I'm trying to run is potentially harmful and it won't run it. How do I get around this and run it?Thursday, March 1, 2007 10:44 PM

Maybe the Windows Defender found out a harmful code with this executable file you're going to open, perform a deep scan with Windows Defender and you should get what's in the file.
Good luck

I'm not really all that bothered even if it is harmful - it's just annoying that vista won't let me run a file and there isn't any way of clicking on something that will let me actually run it. Thanks for the help though.Friday, March 2, 2007 4:00 PM
