    We are in the process of redoing a conference room and we ran into a problem.  We need the option to be able able to mute/turn off the microphones unless a Skype Meeting is taking place, in which the microphones would be enabled.  The microphones are coming in on an audio in line into the computer if that helps out.  Right now the microphones are always on and come over the speakers at all times.  The users log in as themselves on the windows 7 computer to do video conferencing in the room.  Is this possible?

    Yes, it is relayed to the speakers from the microphones no matter what.  The problem is this is a conferencing room and the mics are ceiling mics.

    Should of included our setup above:

    Right now we have a Inogeni Share2 device, PTZOptics HDMI camera (we will add a second), and two Polycom HDX Microphones.  The microphones go into a mixer and the mixer then goes into the Inogeni device in the audio in port.  The microphones are then passed over USB using the inogeni device to the computer.  It all works except for the problem above with the microphones being on at all times.

    Based on my research, it is impossible on the skype for business.
