Conditional Entity Extrations RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Experts,

    Could any of you think of a way to do a conditional Entity Extration?

    For eg., I have 10 enitiy extracting dictionaries but I want only (lets say) the first five entity extration to happen and skip the rest if the (lets say) contentsource is a fileshare and the last five if my contentsource is a sharepoint.

    I know this is a tricky question but wanted to know if anyone gets some sparkling idea :)

    Much Thanks!!

  • Hi,

    If you include the contentsource crawled property as part of the input to your custom module you can add an if statement in your code and write output values only for the items triggering your if statements.

    You can get the content source via the following crawled property statement:

    <CrawledProperty propertySet="012357BD-1113-171D-1F25-292BB0B0B0B0" varType="31" propertyId="315" />

  • Hi Mikael,

    I was talking about the entity extraction (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff795797.aspx) for which we may not be doing any c# custom stage and hence apply condition here becomes near to impossible.

    Much Thanks!!
