  • Hello,

    I would drop the database (unless it contains anything vital) and recreate it using the scripts that Falko has provided;

  • Hello,

    Are there any errors in the event-log? Any indication that the database is operational?

  • I'm unsing SQL Server 2012 SP1 on a differnent machine (a sql-cluster). I have installed the sql Native Client.

    i set up the databases manually, as described in http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj713404.aspx

    appv_server_setup.exe /LAYOUT

    And in the eventlog error are reported:

    Event-ID: 217

    Source: Server-Management. The Logmessage is in german, and should be this in english: An Instance of the COM-Component with CLSID 885A0661-50B8-4C30-B134-456B52293229 could not be created form IClassFactory: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception von HRESULT: 0X80040154 REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG

  • Did anyone try Nickes suggestion?  Before we can offer other options we need to know that the database was setup correctly.
