Recalculate Value in Column RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm getting data from an API using Json.Document(Web.Contents...

Everything works perfect with getting the data.

But now I would like to recalculate some of the data. For example I am getting Time Values in Seconds. I would like to recalculate the values to get TimeData (Seconds / 86400) but without adding a new column. I already tried "Table.ReplaceValue". But I wasn't able to calculate the values.

Is there any tutorial how to do a recalculation of values but without adding a new column?

  • You saved my day ! Thanks.
For those interested, an easy way to create such a step is to use one of the built-in transformations from the Transform menu tab, such as Format->Uppercase. Then replace "Text.Upper" in the formula bar with your own function.
