This error is not letting me update my windows. My clock is updated and also all machines (servers only) are connected to the domain. Hi Ameen A.Sak,
Based on my understanding, your WSUS server 3.0 could sync updates successfully from Internet to WSUS server, WSUS clients (server 2012R2 and VMs) failed to update from WSUS server with error 80072ee2 & error 80072F8F.
Then,
1. What is the detailed version of your WSUS server, if it's not the latest version, please upgrade your WSUS server;
2. Please check if the URL of the WSUS server is correct on WSUS clients;
3. On the WSUS clients, please run windows update troubleshooter and reset windows updates components:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058
4. On the WSUS server, please run server cleanup wizard and re-index WSUS database:
https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/6f8cde49-5c52-4abd-9820-f1d270ddea61
5. If after doing the above things, it still doesn't work, please check the detailed WindowsUpdate.log on WSUS clients.
Best Regards,
Anne
