GPP - Files created duplicate folder

    Question

  • Hello,

    i have some issues with a "GPP-Folder".

I wanted to copy some files from a share to the folder "reports" of some clients.

    Source \\server\share\*

    destination %Programfiles(x86)%\Reports

I have accidentally choosen the operation "create".

The result was that the folder "reports" is now duplicated on the clients.

I am really  astonished that it´s possible to have two folders with the same name in the same directory.

Does anybody know how to get rid of the duplicated folder?

It´s not possible to delete it manually.

    Help is very appreciated.

     best regards

    Stephan

It is not possible and has never been. Are you sure both are a folder?
Or is one of them a file? Or does one of them have invalid characters at
the beginning or end, like a space or so?

And to be really sure: Do NOT check with explorer, but with a command line.

  • Hi Stephan,

I have tested with “Create” and there is only “report” folder.

As mentioned above, I suggest you check it again.

    Best Regards,

    Jay
