BUG: WDDM 1.1 Window Resizing with GDI elements in the transparent regions RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Theres a graphical glitch that occurs when a window with GUI elements are drawn into the transparent regions such as explorer, IE8, Chrome, and Office 2007. WHen the window is resized WDDM draws the adjacent pixels into the the new region until the window is redrawn but it doesn't extended those into the transparant region so the output ends up squished and not lined up with the elements in the window for a second while it redraws. All they would really need to fix is where that output is lined up to. I don;t know how this would be done but Its possible and would make resizing look at look cleaner.
