Hyperlink not working in Sharepoint timesheet page. Not clickable RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are using an older 2003, I believe, sharepoint set up which works fine and does what we need to do most of the time.

However, I have a couple of users that are experiencing the same problem whereby our time sheet system doesn't work for them.  The hyperlink Create new Timesheet does nothing when clicked yet every other type of hyperlink works fine within the system.

It appears to be a local problem as I can log them onto a different machine and the link works fine.   Also if they have previous weeks time sheets we can work around the main problem by clicking on a complete and submitted week then clicking on the forward one week link to get to the current week so we have a work around.

It's very odd.  So the new current week cannot be clicked on, it does nothing, but previous ones work.

If anyone can help me move forward to a solution that would be great.

  • Welcome to the forums,

SharePoint 2003 is a bit vintage around here, so please forgive the rudimentary questions

    1. How have you implemented the TimeSheet System?  Does it use a document library with a document template, or have you created a custom form?
    2. Have you made any customisations to the system, such as client-side Jquery modifications?
    3. Have you checked browser versions for the user's machine, both working and not working>
