Automate publishing applications into UAG ... RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have hundreds of websites (1 per client) that we want to publish via remoteApp.   In each case InternetExplore (iexplore.exe) is published with the URL of the client's website as a commandline parameter.    Each remoteApp published this way will have a different authorization group specified.

What's a good way to automate publishing these applications into UAG?   As you can imagine,  publishing these manually 1-by-1 will be extremely tedious and error prone.

  • If you can integrate them all in a TSPUB file, then you will be able to select them all and ADD them to the portal. Beyond that, Unfortunately, UAG does not support any automation of publishing applications.

  • Thanks for the reply.   I noticed that publishing all apps via a single tspub file implies that we can't configure authorization rules in UAG on a per client basis.

Any suggestions on how to work through/around that, Ben?
