  • Does Outlook 2007 calendar permissions carry over to Sharepoint WSS 3.0 and vice?

  • I'd also add to Hemendra's point that a SharePoint Calendar is opened as a shared Calendar within Outlook.  If you generate the connection within SharePoint, you'll have permissions but won' be able to share it with those that aren't permissioned within SharePoint (as far as I recall).

  • If a user can open an Outlook Calendar (in Outlook), then they can "Connect" it within SharePoint, and vice versa.

  • Hi,

    No, You have to give separate permission into sharepoint calendar list. If user has no access on calendar list and if you try to open same list form outlook then you will get access denied error.
