Visual Reports - Cost Summary RRS feed

  • Question

  • I find the Cash Flow Summary Report very useful. However, is there a way to drill down to Resource Groups? I currently have 4 groups defined - it would be helpful to see these reports by group.

    Thanks.

If you are describing the Cash Flow report for Excel, the answer is no, you cannot drill down to resource groups since this report is a task report and not a resource report.  If you attempt to create your own resource Cash Flow report, you can add the resources groups, but you cannot include the Cumulative Work column, since it is not available.  Hope this helps.

  • I would second the thought of Dale, that this Report is Task based and not Resource based. When you want to quantify the Cash Flow, its in terms of the % Work Completed on the tasks and Resources (with their rates) assigned to it. It measures the dynamics of Cash utilization on timeline as per the schedule (resource does play role, but on who is working and what is his cost and actuals reported by them).
