Dispaly folder on page viewer webpart RRS feed

  • Hi ,

    i have created one page viewer webpart where i nedd to show folders of one of the document library.

    In the properties section of the webpart URL path i just mentioned as file://servername/Foldername

    When i click on Apply button it throwing error as internet explorer can't disaply the page.

    Can any one suggest me how to do this....

  • Hi ,

     

    Will the folder show up when you type the url path in the windows explorer ? If not ,please check whether you have started the WebClient service .If you are using windows server 2003 you can check the services here:

    Start>Administration tools>Services>WebClient .Then start  it .

    Thanks for your help .i have already tried with the option mentioned in the blog the procedure is to show a file from the local box not for the folder.

    i would like to dispaly the sharepoint site folders ion page viewe webpart
