IE plugin for OpenOffice 3.3? RRS feed

    As a recruiter I receieved (in my gmail acount) a file that contains a candidate's resume in an OO format. I have OO installed on my PC, but when I click file to open I get a msg that says: "OpenOffice browser extension for Internet Explorer not found", and I am unable to see/read the doc.

    Please help, and thanks in advance.

    Hi Jim,

     

    After research, I find OpenOffice 3.3 is not supported on Windows 7. Did you try to right click on the attachment and save to open?

     

    I suggest installing OpenOffice 3.3 in compatibility mode. Right click install file -> Troubleshoot compatibility -> Try recommended settings -> Start the program -> next -> save the settings.
