Unable to install hyper-v on my computer

    Question

  • I tried to install Hyper-V on my computer (Windows 10) but the highlighted report along with messages displayed during the installation indicate that there are compatibility issues.

    Unfortunately this forum does not allow me to upload HTM files, but only images, the report is generated automatically in HTM, and, I am hoping you may communicate to the bug handling team, as I am afraid my version of Windows either needs an upgrade or else other tweaks have to be made so that I can run Hyper-V using my preferred language.  So far I tried switching from English (US) to English (UK), so this might be an installation that can be seen to be discriminatory as it is targeted for a particular language and not for another.  

    Within the EU languages are official according to the sites of the European Commission and it is hoped that Microsoft Inc. eventually upgrades its software for compatibility across different platforms.

    Can you please guide me accordingly?

  • Without any report or screenshot or any other information, can't tell anything. Should upload screenshot at least ..

    As to the compatibility issues I'd ask the pc or hardware vendor for help.

  • Providing the text output of the error would be helpful.

    What edition of Windows 10 are you using?  Not all editions can run Hyper-V.
