Redirecting a website RRS feed

  • Hello  i want my website to be redirected

    My Domain : xyz.com and my website me.xyz.com works fine. but when a user just types me on the web browser it shud be  redirected to me.xyz.com. how can this be done, i want to do by dns but i am not able to do. please guide me.

  • this is not recommended, but i would something like this.

    Assuming this is an internal only website, and you have one or  more common DNS Zones in the DNS Suffix search llist (ipconfig /all)

    Exmaple:

    DNS Suffix Search List. . . . . . : domain1.net
                                        domain2.net

    In domain1.net create a CNAME record as shown

    ME CNAME me.xyz.com

    If needed configure your web server host headers to inclued ME and me.xyz.com

    Alternatively you need to create a new website for ME, a new DNS record for ME and redirect to me.xyz.com
