  • Hi Sirrell,

I checked the details of the latest card EVGA GTX295 and found that it is not compatible with the windows 7.

Please check the link below which shows the same.

    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?type=Hardware&s=EVGA%20GTX295&page=10

Please try using the same card which you used for vista as you said it was working fine and check.

Also, you can check if the game is running fine in vista using the lastest card EVGA GTX295.

    For checking this,

Go to the game -> right click -> properties -> compatibility tab.In the compatibility tab you have an option to run the applciation in any Operarting system.Select vista and check whether its running fine or not.

    Thanks,

    Saraga mala

    Which drivers are you using?

I'm not sure that the ones from Windows Update include the OpenGL components.

The latest Win7 X64 WHQL drivers for the GTX295 are:

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7_winvista_64bit_191.07_whql.html

    Hope that helps.
