Different Firs Page

Question
-
I'm trying to have a different first page than the rest of my document and I can't find the button to click to allow me a different first page. I am working in word for mac 2008. Can someone tell me where the button is to click to be able to have a different first page? I need the header different so I can have "running head" only on the first page. Search Normal.dotm in your machine, rename it or delete.
Create a new Normal.dotm that has layouts as you want, save it as Normal.dotm on the same path as the original one.
That is a silly suggestion.
First, deleting the existing Normal.dotm will cause the OP to lose any customisations & macros stored there (the latter doesn't apply to Word 2008, which doesn't support macros). Secondly, the change (which one could make to the existing Normal.dotm) would affect all new documents (which the OP probably would not want) and would have no effect on the existing document.
