Quattro Pro X6 RRS feed

  • Question

  • After upgrading to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit I found I had to also upgrade to WordPerfect office X6 as Quattro Pro would not run.  However since installing Quattro Pro X6 in the Corel X6 Office package I get frequent hangs of the application.  I have done a complete windows 7 Repair install after uninstalling WordPerfect Office the re-installed the WordPerfect Office X6 and still get 3 Hangs in one day any suggestions how to identify what is causing the following hang would be much appreciated:

    From my Event Viewer

The program qpw16.exe version 16.0.0.429 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

  • Hi,

Could you try installing the WordPerfect Office in other computer to see if the issue persists?

If no, it is an issue of the current pc.

    1.run virus scan.

2.maybe you should update the video driver.

Start>devmgmt.exe>Display adapters>Double click the entry, choose the Driver tab>update the driver.

3.perform a clean boot to see whether there are any software conflicts.

If yes, the package you used when installing may got corrupt.

You may contact the product support for further help.
