  • The error means:

    Bug Check 0xE3: RESOURCE_NOT_OWNED

The RESOURCE_NOT_OWNED bug check has a value of 0x000000E3. This indicates that a thread tried to release a resource it did not own.

The following parameters are displayed on the blue screen.

    Parameter Description

    Address of resource

    Address of thread

Address of owner table (if it exists)

So, if you have the minidump you should be able to see at least a partial stack and to find in the offending thread the name of the driver which is trying to release the resource.. in windbg issue the command

    !thread 0xffffe001b2842080

This is probably a conflict with another driver which may have overwritten this address or the driver itself trying to do a double release,. So if you can find the driver name in the stack, you can try updating that driver to a more recent version.
