I have one forest with about 15 domains (one for each sites), sites where we have a technician they are domain admins and administrator of their own domain (AD and physical server). To ease the administration I'm looking to migrate all users into only
one domain but I still want to delegate the administration of physical servers (DC) to local tech without giving them domain admins / administrator rights, so they manage only their server(s) (shares, printers, drivers, services, updates/patches, etc..), is
there a way to do that ?
We are running Windows 2003 STD R2 SP2 but if we go ahead with the domains migration, update to 2008 R2 will be done at same time.
