Searching in build team? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

    We have about 250 employees.

When build team for the project, there's no searching feature. It makes me very difficult to select each employee to build team.

Is there any way to do it easier?

    Thanks all.

  • Hi there--

You can create a new "team builder" View type (Team members use this type of view to review the tasks to which their team is assigned as a resource.)using Manage view under PWA server settings. You can have the views as per yoru configuration e.g a Resource level CF like Group or any other filter & save it. Once you go to project in PWA, You can use the newly created View which gets the filtered  resources based on your logic.

Once you have the filtered resources from 250 , easy for you to select the specific ones in your project.

  • Are you in PWA or Project Professional?  Project Professional offers a filter capability - and I think you can type the initial letter to navigate to it.  PWA may offer the same - I don't have it in front of me right now, but it exists in a couple other similar interfaces.
