How do we install POP3 on a Windows 2003 server machine, if using Windows components wizard asks ofr CD2 of SP2? RRS feed

    I am trying to a replicate a customer scenario which needs a POP3 server on a Windows 2003 SP2 setup.

    While trying to install POP3 service using
    Add/remove programs -> Add Windows components -> Selecting email Services
    Select both POP3 service & POP3 web administration.

    I get the following request in the configuring components popup:



    Well the issue is that I do not have access to any such CD... how can I work around this issue?

  • to install the windows components you require windows server 2003 SP2 CD. unless , you cannot install any component because the files to be installed are in the CD.
