Flilght Sim X on Windows 7 64 bit RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Folks,

I apologize in advance as I'm not very technical.  I'm having a problem with my FSX as my display locks up after I begin playing.  The time involved before locking changes, and though the engine sound continues nothing else responds.  I've researched the problem to the best of my limited abilities, downloaded and installed FSX SP 1 and 2, and all updates to my Saitek peripherals.  I'm running:

    Dell Studio XPS 435T

    i7 CPU 920@ 2.67 GHz

    RAM: 6 Gig

    64 bit OS

    Monitor: Dell ST2410

    Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT220

I appreciate any advice, and feel free to email me at OldDrummer55@gmail.com.  Type sloooooowly as I'm a drummer...  ;)

    Thanks, Mark

  • Hi,

Did this issue occur before? If not, you can try system restore to get back to a good time.

A game freezes, it is generally because of software conflicts, a clean boot would help to eliminate software conflicts.

    Hope it helps.
