Skype for Business Recurring Meeting issues RRS feed

  • We have lots of recurring meetings that need to be skype-enabled (the user clicks "Skype Meeting" in Outlook when creating the meeting to insert the Skype link/dial-in). Creating these initially is easy, but trying to either edit the series, or delete a single occurance from that meeting series seems impossible. Outlook throws an error and won't let you edit the series if it's a Skype meeting. Surely there must be a way to edit a recurring/series of meetings if they are Skype enabled without having to delete and recreate the entire series?

    Did this issue occur to all users?

    By my test, we could edit or delete Skype recurring meeting in outlook. To this issue, we suggest you do the following steps for troubleshooting:

    1. Use OWA with this specific user to check if the issue persist
    2. If this issue didn’t occur in OWA and just for specific user, try to re-add “Skype meeting add-in” for specific user; if this issue didn’t occur in OWA and for all users, update outlook to the latest
    3. If this issue also occur on OWA for all users, we suggest you update Exchange server to the latest
