Content Validation failure detection RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, guys,

    I'm going to find all ways how to find and detect content validation failure.

    As i know, i can be found on every distribtution point SMSdpmon.log. Here error status and cosed can be found which package or application had content validation failure, and also from monitoring tab on console.

    Just need to ensure, is any another ways to find content validation problems?

    Or just should I gather information with PS from content status.

    Also i tryed check status via WMI.

    Get-WmiObject -List -Namespace $namespace | ? {$_ -like "*content*"}

    but not any class exist related content validation.

    Probably someone knows where i can find information how to gather content status from console?

    or it is possible via WMI class?

  • What's you goal here?

    Everything in the console in your above screenshot is simply a status message and comes from the view v_StatusMessage in the database. There are lots of ways to query the database including https://gregramsey.net/2014/12/29/how-to-extract-status-message-information-from-configmgr-2012-r2/.
