You may think I am having a typical display driver issue, but I don't think I am, here's why.
I installed Vista Business on a 46x AMD 2GB system with a Nvidia 6100 video card. When I boot into vista the screen keeps flickering. It never goes black, just keeps flickering. I updated all the video cards, and even went to the nvidia website to make sure I had a 64x vista compatible driver. Everything checked out. Here's where it gets interesting. When I put the computer into the new "hibernate" mode, and bring it back out everything works great. I get no flickering from that point on until I do a restart. After a restart I have to go back in and out of hibernate to get it to stop again.
Anyone ever heard of this? Please give me your thoughts.
