SCOM 2012 - Cisco Monitoring - Display Name not convenient RRS feed

    Hello,

    I'm using SCOM 2012 SP1 UR4.
    Default Sealed MP provided in SCOM 1012 for Network Monitoring.

    I used the discovery wizard in order to add our lab switchs (CISCO 4500) in SCOM.
    The interfaces names are not really convenient, for instance "PORT-37".

    However, when we go in Object Properties, we can see the true interface in "Description" field, and this is great !

    See screenshot below :

    Is there a way to change the "Display Name" to specify the interface name (seen in "Description" field) ?
    It would be better, with this information, when I browse the console this will save me an incredible amount of clicks and time :)

    Hi, you cannot change Display Name easily, it needs authoring

    Why not to include this property (Description) in a view? and in subscription you can also include Full name

    Do you know how could I do to change the Display Name by authoring ?
