Single Login office 365 azureAD in workgroup RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a small LAN with 10 workstation computers and 1 server.

The server runs SQL server for an app that all users on the network have full access to.

The server also has shared printers and shared drives that everyone on the network has full access to.

All of the computers on the network have windows 10 running.

The server has windows server 2019 and SQL Server 2019 running on it. When the users log into their workstations they use their Office 365 account azureAD login.

Is it safe to run a LAN server with no password required in a workgroup where all of the people on the LAN have access to all shared resources?

Can a hacker get into the LAN through the Verizon fios router and cause damage to our data on the sql server and shared drives that now do not require a password to access for our workgroup?
