TMG Problems 10060 RRS feed

  • Hello All,

    we are with a new application here, but whem we try to acess it trough the TMG proxy it don't complete the request.

    Follow the error

    Could you help me?

    as the message says, "...the connected party did not properly respond...".

    This means that either the client or the destination server did not respond as it should. If the client works for any other site/connection then the issue is somewhere between the TMG and the destination.

    Does the destination server actually reside on the Internet (e.g. external network)? Does it listen to SSL? Does it use a custom SSL port?

    Places to look:

    - DNS resolution issues (name resolves to correct address?)

    - Routing, can TMG route traffic to the destination?

    - Routing, can the destination route traffic back?

    - Protocol remote server is listening to.

    Use MS Message Analyzer/Network Monitor/Wireshark on the TMG server and see if the server is able to compete a TCP handshake on the correct IP address:port.
