Microsoft Hyper-V Network Switch Default Miniport

  • Hi,

We have a dedicated server on OVH, which has Windows server 2012 installed on it. We activate the Hyper-V role on it. After the installation the following occurred. Microsoft Hyper-V Network Switch Default Miniport is marked in yellow: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39). The same occurs with Microsoft Hyper-V PCI server  , Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization Ifrastructure Driver. We have two NIC: Intel(R)  Ethernet connection X552/557-AT 10GBASE-T with the latest drivers. All of our attempts to solve this issue did not give any results.

    Can you please advise?

  • Your explanation is incomplete.  Is OVH a hosting company?  Is the 2012 Server a physical machine or a virtual machine?  If it is a virtual machine, Hyper-V 2012 does not support nested virtualization.  In other words, you could not install Hyper-V into the VM and expect it to work.
