    Im having a tricky issue with prestaging a secondary site. I follow the steps

    create prestage content

    assign content from primary

    extract prestage content

    The scheduler and sender then appear to send the package (all4GB) over the LAN

    It then is processed and goes into 'waiting for prestage content' on the primary

    If I then extract the pkgx it all works.

    But why is it sending the packages?

    I have changed the prestage behaviour of all packages to 'manualy download changes' as well

    yes that is the doco I originally followed, waited at least 10 mins before syncing content, even after 12 hours content still copies via the sender (.try file) before reporting waiting for prestage content.

    Edit:   "prestaged content check box is not selected. "

    At 3am you tend to skip the bits not in bold.

    So a DP on a secondary or primary  needs that checkbox disabled.
