Lync 2013- Changes to toplogy RRS feed

    Hello

    Environment up and working with LYnc 2013 SFB and Lync Edge Server successfully.

    As part of transistion, new trunks/SBC are going to be added in the Topology builder.

    Post publishing the topology builder,

    1. Do we have to re-run the local configuration store on each Front end server( mandatory) ?

    2. Do we have to export the configuration and import this on the edge server via deployment wizard ?

    Hi Sunny2k,

    Welcome to our forum.     

    When we add new trunks/SBC into topology, we should publish topology again, and you need not run this command on each Front end server.

    For issue2, we need not export the configuration, and it will be replicated from CMS to Edge automatically.

    Agree with Jim, only the Topo publishing is required , make sure the admin has RTCUniversalServerAdmin permission as welll as Domain Admin permission delegated so that he has the full permission of publishing it.
